Work included marine salvage operations, research and development projects in the defence sector and vessel delivery around the UK coast. Our mainstay occupation was providing shipwright services, including refit and conversion projects, survey and insurance compliance work and traditional wooden boat renovation and repair. We have always been enthusiastic proponents of ''sustainable boat building'' methods.   Since relocation from the UK in 2001, we have worked from facilities in Brisbane and Hong Kong, providing marine surveying, consulting and other specialist marine services. Jobs we have undertaken include: refit projects on steel, aluminium, fibreglass and wooden vessels surveys of commercial and recreational vessels, specialising in wooden boats  compliance and safety audits surveys of cargo (including damage assessments), lashings and containers magnetic compass installations, inspections, repairs and adjustments non-destructive testing (NDT) & forensic investigation on steel, aluminium, fibreglass & timber vessels for corrosion, osmosis, water ingress, etc. Back to top of page   Our Partners and Associates - We work with a number of trustworthy and reliable colleagues, partners and associates around Australia and Asia-Pacific in order to deliver comprehensive, high quality marine services. LICENSED COMPASS ADJUSTERS Captain Harry Bricis, Master Mariner and licensed compass adjuster, establised a marine compass adjusting service for Brisbane and Gold Coast in 1985. . He was joined in 2005 by John Hall who holds an unrestricted compass adjuster's licence, issued by A.M.S.A. After Harry's retirement, John continued to provide local, interstate and international vessel operators in South East Queensland and beyond with reliable and accurate compass adjusting services. John is a highly skilled compass adjuster whose extensive experience ranges from container ships, bulk carriers, tankers and ferries, to warships, customs, police and supply vessels to tugs, trawlers, charter yachts and trailer boats. He has adjusted compasses on vessels around the Australian coast, SE Asia and the South Pacific.
